According to reports, iQOO plans to launch the iQOO Z8 and iQOO Z8x smartphones in China. Both devices may go official by the end of this month in the domestic market, according to rumors. It went unnoticed that a new Vivo smartphone bearing the V2312A & V2314A model number appeared in Geekbench’s database. A number of Chinese tipsters have suggested that when it debuts in China, the V2312A will be known as the iQOO Z8x. The V2314A model is known as iQOO Z8.
iQOO Z8x:
According to its Geekbench listing, the V2312A smartphone has a Qualcomm chip, 8 GB of RAM, and Android 13. The device scored 968 points in the single-core test and 2845 points in the multi-core test. Geekbench shows several entries for the V2312A, all with the same specifications.
In terms of the chip, the V2312A, which is believed to be the iQOO Z8x, has 4 x CPU cores running at 1.80GHz and 4 x CPU cores running at 2.21GHz. According to Geekbench’s source code, the chip uses the Adreno 710 GPU. As a result, the iQOO Z8x will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor.
According to other reports, the iQOO Z8x will feature an LCD panel and a 6,000mAh battery with 80W charging capability. The phone’s other details are still unknown.
iQOO Z8:
The iQOO Z8 appears on Geekbench with model number V2314A. As revealed by the listing, the device is powered by the MediaTek MT6895 chipset, which is nothing more than the Dimensity 8200.
In addition to the 12 GB of RAM, the listing specifies that the device will be running Android 13 with OriginOS 3.0 on top. In Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests, it scored 1274 and 4034 points, respectively.
According to reports, both smartphones have FHD+ LCD panels that offer 120Hz refresh rates.
Additionally, the Z8 is rumored to have LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging. There will be a fingerprint sensor mounted on the side of both phones. In the coming days, other details of the Z8 series are expected to emerge.
