The launch timeframe for the Vivo X Fold 3 has been tipped by leaker Digital Chat Station. According to the same tipster, the Vivo X Fold 3 and the Vivo X100 Pro+ will debut together next year.
It appears that the X Fold 3 will be released early in 2024, within the first quarter. The device will be slim, lightweight, and feature a periscope zoom camera. There had never been a periscope telephoto camera on any of the previous X Fold models from the brand. As for the core specs of the X Fold 3, the tipster did not share any details.
Rumors suggest that the Vivo X100 Pro+ will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Due to this, it is unclear what chipset will be used in the Vivo X Fold 3. X Fold 3 and X100 Pro+ are unlikely to use the same chip, leaving the question of which chipset will be used in the X Fold 3 unanswered.
Vivo X100 and X100 Pro are expected to arrive in the Chinese market in November this year. Both models are expected to feature the Dimensity 9300 chip.
