Detailed information about the battery sizes and charging capabilities of Xiaomi’s upcoming 14 series has been leaked by reliable tipster Digital Chat Station. The Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro are expected to launch in China in November.
Xiaomi 14 will come with a 4,860mAh battery and support 90W wired charging, according to a leak. Xiaomi 14 Pro, meanwhile, will feature a larger 5,000mAh battery and 120W wired charging. In addition, both models will support wireless charging at 50W.
Compared to their predecessors, this leak suggests a major battery and charging upgrade. Xiaomi 13 had a smaller 4,500mAh battery with fast charging at 67W. In addition, recent reports indicate that both the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro will have USB-C ports that support USB 3.2.
The Xiaomi 14 series will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. It is expected that Qualcomm will unveil this new chip in October, which has led to speculation that the Xiaomi 14 lineup may launch as early as November in China.
