Samsung India has confirmed the launching of a new Galaxy S21 FE 5G variant. A dedicated microsite has been set up for the upcoming model. Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor is shown in a teaser image for the phone.

In early 2022, the brand launched the Snapdragon 888 chipset in select regions. India, for example, had a phone with the Exynos 2100. In combination with the Adreno 660 GPU, the 5nm processor should provide better gaming performance. The smartphone’s other specs remain the same.

Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy S21 FE will come with 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage as its base model. It is rumored that the phone will also come in Navy Blue. As with the Exynos variant, you can expect 8GB LPDDR4X RAM. There is no expectation that a lower 128GB ROM will be available.

The new Galaxy S21 FE will sport 6.4 inches FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X  flat display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080p with 120Hz refresh rates. It will come with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on top for protection.

The Galaxy S21 FE will arrive in only 5G versions with two different processors. Anyway, the new Galaxy S21 FE version comes with Exynos 2100 SoC whereas the other variant with SD888 SoC. It is coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage.

The new Galaxy S21 FE features triple rear cameras with a 12MP main sensor with f/1.8 along with a 12MP 123-degrees FOV Ultra-wide sensor with f/2.0 aperture and 8MP telephoto lens with f/2.0 aperture and 3x optical zoom with OIS support. The device will also have support for an 8K video recording. Galaxy S21 FE features a 32MP selfie shooter with an f/2.0 aperture.

The connectivity options include Dual SIM with 4G LTE, VoLTE, 5G, Wifi-6, A-GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C port, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0 & under-display fingerprint scanner. The new Galaxy S21 FE packs a 4500 mAh battery with 25W fast charging along with 15W Wireless Powershare support. It runs on Android 12 with One UI 4.0 on top and comes with an IP68 rating making it dust and water-resistant.
