There may be a fifth tablet in the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+, according to a recent update. Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy Tab S9, S9+, and S9 Ultra at its Unpacked Event on July 26, 2023.
An anonymous tipster on Twitter, Anthony (@TheGalox), has posted a screenshot of Geekbench 6, displaying the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ model number SM-X616B. The tablet scored 987 points on a single-core test and 2731 points on a multi-core test. According to reports, Samsung’s Exynos 1380 chipset will be used in the device, and Android 13 will be pre-installed. In addition, an 8GB RAM variant is rumored for the tablet.
The Galaxy Tab S9 FE+’s multi-core score is 40% higher than that of its predecessor, the Galaxy Tab S7 FE 5G.
A previous report provided information on color variants of the Galaxy Tab S9 series by display consultant Ross Young. The Galaxy Tab S9 FE and S9 FE+ are expected to come in grey, light green, light pink, and silver colors, according to Young. The S9, S9+, and S9 Ultra devices will also be available in beige and grey colors.
