Samsung has finally launched the successor to its flagship tablet series Galaxy Tab S8 series with the new Galaxy Tab S9 series. The new Galaxy Tab S9 series will come with major specs upgrades and the same old design.

Samsung will introduce not two but three new tablets under the Galaxy Tab S9 series with Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Tab S9+ & Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra. Both the Galaxy Tab S9 & Galaxy Tab S9+ look identical in terms of design and come with internal changes. The Galaxy Tab S9 & Galaxy Tab S9+ will feature a standard design with all display front covering thicker bezels on all sides.
The Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra gets a slightly different design which will now sport a notched display similar to Apple Macbook Pro launched recently. Yes, the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra will feature an almost bezel-less display featuring a wider notch carrying dual selfie shooters.
On the back, all three tablets look identical with dual rear cameras with LED flash and a magnetic strap to hold the S-Pen. All three devices come with an all-metal unibody design with a matte finish. The Galaxy Tab S9 measures 6.3mm thick, Galaxy Tab S9+ at 5.7mm & the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra at 5.5 mm thick. The Galaxy Tab S9 weighs 507g whereas the Galaxy Tab S9+ at 567g & Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra at 728g.

The new Galaxy Tab S9 will sport 11 inches Dynamic AMOLED 2X WQXGA 2560 x 1600 pixels, 120Hz display. The Galaxy Tab S9+ sports a larger 12.7 inches (2800 x 1752p) & Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra with 14.6 inches (2960 x 1848p) Dynamic AMOLED 2X WQXGA+ display with 120Hz refresh rate. All of them come with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on top with HDR10+ support.
The new Galaxy Tab S9 trio is powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. It is coupled with 8GB/12GB/16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB/1TB UFS 3.1 storage with a microSD card slot. All three devices come with S-Pen support.
The Galaxy Tab S9+ & Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra feature a 13MP main sensor with f/2.0 aperture along with an 8MP ultra-wide having an aperture f/2.2 with LED flash & AF. Sadly, the Galaxy Tab S9 features a single 13MP rear camera with LED flash. The Galaxy Tab S9 & Galaxy Tab S9+ features a single 12MP f/2.0 aperture selfie shooter whereas the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra features a 12MP main sensor (f/2.2) along with a 12MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture.
All of them come with common connectivity options like USB-C 3.2 Gen 1, Wi-Fi ax, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, Galileo, ANT+, (5G optional). It also comes with quad-speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
The new Galaxy Tab S9 packs an 8400 mAh battery, Galaxy Tab S9+ with 10,090 mAh & Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra with a massive 11,200 mAh battery. The three tablets might come with 45W fast charging support & run on Android 13 OS with One UI 5.1 on top.

Galaxy Tab S9 starts at $799.99 (approximately Rs 65,700). Galaxy Tab S9+ costs $999.99 (roughly Rs 82,100) while Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra costs $1,199.99 (roughly Rs 98,500). Tomorrow, Samsung will reveal the India prices for the Galaxy Tab S9 series.
Pre-orders for the Galaxy Tab S9 series start today, and they will be available for purchase on August 11th.
