The Redmi Pad 2 is reportedly the company’s second-generation tablet. Safety Korea has approved the tablet, according to a report by TheTechOutlook. It was spotted at 3C certification earlier this month. A live shot of the device was revealed in the new certification.
Safety Korea’s database shows the tablet with model number 23073RPBFL. Observing the live shot of the tablet, it appears to have a top bezel with a camera on top and a left edge with the power button.
The Redmi Pad 2’s front design looks almost identical to its predecessor, the Redmi Pad. This device may have a different rear panel design. According to the image, the tablet measures around 10.5 x 7 inches. It revealed that the tablet had received TUV certification, but did not reveal anything significant about it.
According to DCS, the Redmi Pad 2 will have a display between 10 and 11 inches. This screen will have a 2K resolution IPS LCD and a 90Hz refresh rate. It’s rumored to have an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie camera. The Redmi Pad 2 will reportedly have a Snapdragon 680 processor. The phone will be powered by an 8,000mAh battery.
According to Digital Chat Station, the Redmi Pad 2 is an entry-level model. We don’t know anything else about the upcoming offering. Based on the leaked specs, it looks like the Redmi Pad 2 is an incremental upgrade.
