In China, Realme is developing two new smartphones. Realme’s last major launch in China was the Realme GT Neo5. In 2023, the company launched the device under the Realme GT 3 brand in global markets. The smartphone has not yet been released in global markets by Realme. Realme launched a second GT Neo5 smartphone, called GT Neo5 SE. It hasn’t made its way to global markets yet. The launch timeline for Realme’s upcoming Realme GT5 series and Realme GT Neo6 series phones has been revealed by Realme.
According to the Realme Weibo account, the Realme GT5 series smartphones will be launched in China in H2 of 2023. Furthermore, the teaser stated that Realme would launch the GT Neo6 series and GT5 series smartphones. The smartphones will also be launched in global markets by Realme. There has been no other information about the upcoming smartphones released by the company.
According to Digital Chat Station’s revelations, a more powerful device the Realme GT5 Pro is on its way. It is likely that this smartphone will raise the bar for flagship devices to new heights with its Snapdragon 8 Gen3 processor. With the GT5 Pro, Realme’s GT series returns to the forefront of its lineup.
Globally, Realme’s most powerful smartphone is the GT3 with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. Its cameras and display, however, are inferior to those of the GT2 Pro, at least on paper. While GT3 Pro would be the logical next step, Digital Chat Station directly stated the GT5 will be the next phone with Qualcomm’s current flagship platform.
