Poco is reportedly preparing to launch its first TWS earbuds for the Indian market. The brand will announce Poco Pods by the end of this month. In a statement today, the brand confirmed that the Poco Pods will be announced on July 29 in the country.
On July 29, Poco India will unveil the Poco Pods at 12 pm. As indicated in the poster above, the Poco Pods will also be available for a special price of Rs 1,199/-. Currently, the product landing page is live on Flipkart, but it encountered an error and does not contain any information.
With the charging case in black and the inner portion in yellow, the Poco Pods feature a stylish dual-tone design. It’s black on the earbuds themselves, but yellow on the eartips. As well as offering up to 30 hours of playback time, the Poco Pods will be equipped with 12mm extra bass drivers. The product will be available for purchase on Flipkart.
Poco Pods will be a rebranded version of the Redmi Buds 4 Active, priced at Rs 1,399/- in India.
There are 12mm audio drivers in the Redmi Buds 4 Active, as well as 34mAh batteries in each earbud and 440mAh batteries in the charging case. Other features include fast charging, Bluetooth 5.3, a USB-C port, touch controls, and IPX4 water resistance.
