According to a tipster on Weibo, OPPO is working on its next-generation foldable smartphone, the Find N3. This device’s schematics and key specifications were also leaked earlier by the tipper. The upcoming model, expected to launch in late 2023, will be larger than its predecessor, the Find N2, but smaller than its rivals. The device is slim and lightweight.
According to the leak, the Find N3 will feature a 2268 x 2440 pixel screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. Moreover, an 8-inch OLED foldable display and a 6.5-inch 120Hz FHD+ cover display are expected to be included. Among the camera features is a 50MP OIS triple main camera with a periscope lens. It is likely that the periscope lens will be able to zoom three times. Up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 internal storage are reported to be included in the smartphone. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.
While Samsung and Honor are both releasing foldable smartphones, OPPO intends to stand out with its Find N3 model. OPPO targets consumers by emphasizing a sleek and lightweight design alongside advanced features.
OnePlus’s first foldable phone, OnePlus Open, might be branded as the OPPO Find N3 in China, according to a tweet by Max Jambor. According to the tipster, the device will launch on August 29 in black and green.
