Last October, JioBook, the company’s first laptop, was announced. Under Rs 20,000, JioBook featured Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage and was powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC. JioBook was powered by Android-based software. The company is now preparing to launch a refreshed version of the affordable laptop in India.
Later this month, Reliance will launch its “All-new” JioBook laptop in India. JioBook will be unveiled on July 31st in India. Amazon teased some of the specs and features of the device ahead of its official launch in India.
JioBook is designed for all ages, productivity, entertainment, and play, according to Amazon listings. It will be equipped with 4G connectivity on the go. Wi-Fi support is also expected on the device. JioOS will run on the upcoming laptop, unlike JioBook’s previous version.
JioOS features a user-friendly interface that is designed for learning. Several Jio apps will be included with the JioBook laptop. It will be powered by an octa-core chipset. With this SoC, the laptop will be able to handle HD videos, multitask between apps, and run advanced learning software. It is still unclear what the exact chipset name will be. JioBook from 2022 will be powered by Snapdragon 665. All-new JioBook offers a full-day battery life. Video calls can also be made with the new JioBook’s webcam.
Furthermore, the new JioBook will be lighter than the 2022 model by at least 200 grams and weigh 990 grams compared to that model.
