In May, iQOO launched the Neo 8 and Neo Pro smartphones in China. Furthermore, the brand just launched a new iQOO 11 series phone, the iQOO 11S. It seems that iQOO is gearing up to launch the new Z-series smartphone after launching the Neo 8 series and 11S. Tipster Digital Chat Station revealed the details of the iQOO Z8. It’s the successor to the iQOO Z7 5G, which was launched earlier this year in China.
According to Digital Chat Station, the iQOO Z8 will have an LCD panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. There will be two 2,440mAh batteries in the handset. Moreover, the device will support 120W fast charging.
Panda Is Bald on Weibo says the iQOO Z8 will come with a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC, LPDDR5 RAM, and UFS 3.1 storage. Along with the IPS LCD panel, the handset will have a 144Hz refresh rate.
As of now, no other specs are known. In a few days, we’ll find out more about the device if it shows up on some certifications or benchmarks. The device’s launch date has also yet to be announced. The handset will debut in China at the end of August.
