HTC unveiled its U23 and U23 Pro smartphones in Taiwan in May, presenting detailed specifications and pricing information. Pricing and availability details for the HTC U23 were not disclosed at that time. The HTC U23 will be released in Taiwan on July 25, the brand has officially announced.

HTC U23 features a 6.7-inch OLED panel with punch holes. There is an FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and Gorilla Glass Victus protection on the screen. Sadly it comes with side-facing fingerprint scanners for security.
HTC U23 is powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipsets. It comes preinstalled with Android 13 OS. There is an option to get up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage in the U23 series. The device also supports microSD cards for more storage.
There is a 32MP front-facing camera on both smartphones. HTC U23 has a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP depth sensor on the back.
The device’s battery capacity is 4,600 mAh, and it supports fast charging at 30W, wireless charging at 15W, and reverse charging at 30W. It is IP67-certified, making it dust- and water-resistant.
HTC U23 features dual speakers and a 3.5mm audio jack for audio enthusiasts. Additionally, it supports Wi-Fi 6. There are two color options available for the device: Aqua Blue and Roland Violet. Stay tuned for details on pricing on July 25.
