As we approach the one-year anniversary of the Xperia 1 IV launch last year, we can expect the Xperia 5 V to launch soon. Reddit user JB2unique shared an official-looking promo video for the next-generation Xperia 5.
In the video, you’ll see the Xperia 5 V’s refreshed design, which features dual cameras at the back. As a result, the Xperia 5 V will likely sport a wide and ultrawide camera setup and skip the telephoto module found on its predecessors.
On the front, the device appears almost identical to the Xperia 1 IV, and we also confirm that the upcoming device will have a 3.5mm headphone jack. Black, white, and blue are the colors shown toward the end of the video.
According to a Geekbench listing, the Xperia 5 V is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and up to 16GB of RAM. In addition, we received confirmation that the device will support 33W fast charging.
