A tipster revealed yesterday that Infinix is working on a phone similar to the Nothing Phone (2). Additionally, the source shared a schematic image of the alleged handset, which was marked with LED lights. It was only a rumor until now, but live images of the purported smartphone have now emerged. According to the images, the phone does indeed share some similarities with Nothing’s phone.

According to reports, Infinix intends to launch a new GT series of gaming-centric smartphones in the Indian market. At least two phones will be included in the lineup: the Infinix GT 10 Pro and the Infinix GT 10 Pro+. The Pro model is unremarkable, but the Pro+ is more intriguing. Weibo live images show the Infinix GT 10 Pro+ has a transparent back, like the Phone (2).

On the back, there is a random orange pattern and a C-shaped marking, possibly for LED lights. It looks like Carl Pei may not need to call his lawyers about the Phone (2). There is nothing bad about the Infinix smartphone, and it even resembles gaming phones like the recently launched Red Magic 8S Pro.

According to The Tech Outlook, the leaked images reveal most of the specs of the two phones. Both GT 10 Pro models have Full HD+ screens, 5000mAh batteries, and 108MP rear cameras. The selfie camera is also 32MP. In the Pro model, the Dimensity 1300 chip is coupled with 8 GB (virtual) RAM and 256 GB of storage. Featuring the Dimensity 8050 chipset, the Infinix GT 10 Pro+ should be a more premium offering. On both models, XOS 13.0 is installed, which is based on Android 13.0.
