In China, OnePlus is reportedly developing a new Ace series smartphone. OnePlus Ace 2 Pro is being developed by the Chinese OEM. Ace 2 was launched as OnePlus 11R in global markets, including India, but the company stated during the launch event that no smartphones in the OnePlus 11 series would be released. Therefore, the Ace 2 Pro might have a different name. The specifications and timeline of the upcoming device were revealed in a report. The smartphone has now been listed on GeekBench 5.
OnePlus’ upcoming smartphone has been listed in GeekBench 5 with the model number PJA110. According to GeekBench, the device features a chipset with one core at 3.19GHz, four cores at 2.80GHz, and three cores at 2.02GHz. It appears the company will equip the smartphone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC based on the details revealed by GeekBench. An Adreno 740 GPU and 16GB of RAM will be paired with the chipset.
Android 13 will come pre-installed on the smartphone. OnePlus Ace 2 Pro scored 1574 points in single-core tests and 5071 points in multi-core tests. The GeekBench listing doesn’t reveal any other details about the upcoming smartphone. OnePlus is expected to launch the smartphone in China in August, according to Digital Chat Station. It was also hinted that OnePlus would launch the smartphone across the globe, including in India.
