Xiaomi reportedly plans to release two foldable smartphones next year. The first phone will be part of its existing MIX Fold lineup, while the second will be its first clamshell folding phone, known as the MIX Flip.
This news comes from the well-known tipster Digital Chat Station, which posted the information on Weibo. Sometime in 2024, the Chinese tech giant will launch its first Flip phone model. Besides this, the brand is also planning to release the MIX Fold 4 next year.
A Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 could also be in the works, with a possible release date of July or August 2023. According to the latest leak, the MIX Flip has the model number N17 and the MIX Fold 4 has the model number N18. In addition, Qualcomm Snapdragon processors will be used in both models when they launch in 2024.
Digital Chat Station claimed that the chipset will be the flagship Snapdragon 8 series that delivers top-notch performance, even though the exact chipset was not disclosed.
