After the Vivo X90 series was released in the global market recently, leaks regarding the next-generation lineup have begun to surface. Vivo’s X100 series is expected to include the X100, X100 Pro, and X100 Pro+ models. After the two other versions are revealed later this year, the Pro+ model is rumored to launch next year. According to a tipster, the series will feature a significant camera upgrade, including periscope zoom.
There are two segments of Vivo X100 fans, according to rumors circulating on Weibo. According to one report, the Vivo X100 will not be equipped with a periscope lens, while the other says it will. Since the introduction of the Vivo X70 Pro series in 2021, Vivo’s flagship phones have featured periscope telephoto lenses. It makes no sense for the X100 line to be left out of this feature.
In a recent report, the X100 is expected to feature a Sony IMX9-series 1/14x-inch primary sensor. It also features a 12MP Sony IMX663 ultra-wide lens and a 64MP OmniVision OV64B telephoto lens. According to reports, the primary camera is an enhanced version of the IMX866 and an advanced version of the IMX9-series sensor. As for the X100 Pro, it is reported to have a 1-inch primary camera, periscope zoom camera, and 12MP ultra-wide lens IMX663.
Vivo’s X100 and X100 Pro are said to be powered by the Dimensity 9300 chipset. It is expected that both smartphones will be released in the Chinese market as early as November this year.
