Vivo is rumored to be developing a new smartphone series called Vivo X100, with details about its camera specs recently leaked via a Weibo post by renowned tipster Digital Chat Station. There will be three models in the series: the X100, X100 Pro, and X100 Pro+.
Among the first phones to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset are the X100 Pro+ and X100, while the Dimensity 9300 SoC may power the X100 and X100 Pro. X100 camera details are tipped, possibly indicating Dimensity 9300 chip in the tipster’s post.
In addition to the Sony IMX9-series 1/14x-inch primary camera sensor, the X100 is said to include a 12-megapixel Sony IMX663 ultra-wide lens and a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B telephoto lens. There is an advanced version of the IMX9-series sensor as well as an enhanced version of the IMX866 used in the primary camera.
It is rumored that the X100 Pro will feature a 1-inch primary camera, a new periscope zoom camera, and possibly the 12-megapixel IMX663 ultra-wide lens.
In the meantime, no other details are known about the X100.Vivo might unveil the X100 and X100 Pro smartphones this year, while the X100 Pro+ might not be unveiled until the first quarter of 2024, according to recent leaks.
