The first smartphone to use Dimensity 7200 chipset, the Vivo V27 5G was introduced in March. Vivo recently announced the Vivo V29 Lite 5G in the Czech Republic, and other models in the V29 series are expected to follow. According to Nashville Chatter, the Vivo V29 5G has been spotted on Geekbench, indicating it may launch soon.
The publication reports that Vivo phones with V2250 and V2251 model numbers will arrive with respective marketing names, such as Vivo V29 5G and Vivo V29 Pro 5G. Vivo’s V29 Lite 5G has the model number V2244.
Geekbench shows that the Vivo V29 5G is powered by a Qualcomm chipset with four 1.80GHz CPU cores, four 2.40GHz CPU cores, and an Adreno 642L GPU.
Vivo V29 5G is equipped with the Snapdragon 778G Plus chipset, according to these details. The listing also reveals that the device will run Android 13 and have 8 GB of RAM. According to Geekbench, the device scored 1000 points in the single-core test and 2803 points in the multi-core test.
The Vivo V29 Pro 5G has already been confirmed, but Vivo has not yet revealed anything about the Vivo V29 5G. On the Vivo Philippines website (page removed), the V29 Pro will feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. On the back, it will have a 64MP primary camera with OIS, while the front camera will be 50MP.
