Samsung DX’s Global Marketing Center President, Lee Young-hee, confirmed last week that the company’s next Galaxy Unpacked event will take place in Seoul. Although Young-hee did not reveal the event venue, Samsung sent a press release today, confirming that the Galaxy Unpacked event will take place in Seoul at COEX in Samseong-dong, Gangnam, since “this unique location offers the world an opportunity to experience Seoul’s captivating blend of past, present, and future.”
Samsung has held Unpacked events worldwide since 2010 in Las Vegas, including Barcelona, Berlin, London, and New York. Unpacked for foldable devices will focus on different trend-leading cultural cities around the globe that closely align with the designated themes for each event, starting with Seoul’s next Unpacked.
In addition to Seoul’s role as an influencer of global trends due to its dynamic culture and innovative spirit, it demonstrates Samsung’s confidence in foldable technology.
It has not yet been announced which products Samsung will unveil at Galaxy Unpacked, but it has confirmed that it will unveil its next-generation foldable devices at the event, meaning the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5.
This corroborates rumors that the Galaxy Unpacked event will take place on July 26, as confirmed by the Korean conglomerate.
Apart from foldable Samsung will also introduce the new flagship tablet series Galaxy Tab S9 series. We also have the new TWS too scheduled to tag with Galaxy Buds 3.
