Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 foldable smartphones are expected to launch soon from Samsung. However, a leaked render has finally given us our first look at the Galaxy Z Flip 5 model ahead of its official announcement.
New design renders of the Galaxy Z Flip 5 have been shared by MySmartPrice. The render of the upcoming foldable phone has been leaked by sources close to the matter, giving us our first look at the device. Based on this render, we can see the device’s design, which confirms the large new cover display on the Galaxy Z Flip 5. The upcoming Flip model is rumored to have a taller 3.4-inch external display.
As compared to previous iterations, this is much larger. The display is even larger than the one found in the Oppo Find N2 Flip, which measures 3.26 inches. Under the cover display, the dual camera setup is housed horizontally. The device will likely be able to display more information and add more functionality due to the higher screen of real estate.
It can also be used as a better viewfinder for taking selfies with the higher resolution rear cameras. According to what we know so far, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 will have a 6.7-inch primary AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution. It will be powered by a 3,700mAh battery pack that might support 25W fast charging under the hood. Similarly, the rear will likely keep the dual 12MP cameras.
