All prominent Chinese smartphone manufacturers have introduced flagship devices equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, but Realme is the only exception. Realme, however, is reportedly working on its next flagship device, the Realme GT Neo 5 Pro. A recent Weibo post by popular tipster Digital Chat Station revealed crucial details about the upcoming Realme flagship.
The upcoming Realme GT Neo 5 Pro is expected to feature a flat OLED panel with minimal bezels, according to the renowned tipster. Various sources claim that the screen will offer a 1.5K resolution as well as 144Hz refresh rate and PWM dimming at 2160Hz. Realme is expected to use the same 6.74-inch OLED panel sourced from Tianma as its earlier GT Neo 5 SE and GT Neo 5 smartphones.
Realme GT Neo 5 Pro will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and 16 GB of LPDDR4x RAM. Battery size is not known. It is expected to support 100W charging, however.
Other reports claim that the GT Neo 5 Pro will have a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 primary camera with OIS. There are no details yet on the remaining cameras on the Pro model. Using a new fusion algorithm, the Realme GT Neo 5 Pro’s primary camera should offer improved shot quality, according to DCS. Based on Android 13, Realme UI 4.0 is expected to power the device.
