OPPO has confirmed it will launch its Reno10 series 5G in India soon. Colors and variants have also been revealed by the company. There will be two color options for the OPPO Reno 10 5G: Ice Blue and Silvery Grey. With the OPPO Reno 10 Pro and Reno 10 Pro+ 5G, you can choose between Silvery Grey and Silvery Grey color options, respectively.
Furthermore, OPPO India is pleased to announce its collaboration with renowned director and screenwriter S S Rajamouli for Reno10 Series. The partnership aims to showcase the Reno10 Series’ imaging capabilities, allowing users to express their creativity while allowing the device to handle the technical aspects.
Sadly, no information about when exactly the new Oppo Reno10 series will launch in India at the moment.
Oppo Reno10 Pro & Reno10 Pro+:
There will be a 32MP Sony IMX709 Telephoto Portrait Camera on the Reno 10 Pro 5G, and a 64MP 3x Telephoto Portrait Camera with OIS on the Reno 10 Pro+ 5G. This will allow you to shoot portraits from a distance and eliminate any mild fish-eye distortion you might get with smartphone cameras that force you to shoot from close range.
At 64MP, this telephoto portrait camera is the highest megapixel telephoto portrait camera in the industry—backed by a 1/2-inch image sensor—that lets you snap portraits with up to 3x telephoto with OIS; you also get 120x hybrid zoom. The closest focus distance of this camera is 25cm.
When shooting in low light, the telephoto lens excels at gathering light for brighter and clearer portraits with reduced noise.
Camera features:
Reno 10 Pro+’s process speed for nighttime photography has increased by 54% when combined with TurboRAW2.0’s new colour calculation engine. When compared with the Reno 8 Pro, the company says the capture success rate of quick snapshots increased by 7%, and the dynamic range of the photos increased by 11%.
Additionally, the Reno 10 Pro and Pro+ come with an 8MP Sony IMX355, an ultra-wide-angle camera with a 112° field of view and a 1/4-inch sensor. Its broad dynamic range allows it to preserve details in bright and dark areas of a photograph.
Furthermore, there is a 32MP Sony IMX709 sensor with AF for selfies and precise facial recognition even in low light. On the front camera, an RGBW sensor is customized for OPPO; each RGGB pixel array has the color W (white) inserted; this results in 60% more light being captured than with an ordinary RGGB lens. There is a 1/2.47-inch sensor and a 90° field of view for wider selfies.
On the Reno 10 Series, the camera lens is coated with ALD (atomic layer deposition) to prevent green and red glare. For clearer and more vibrant images, this reduces light reflectivity by up to 70%.
In addition, the spin-coating process creates a uniform thin film with a nanoscale thickness on the blue glass. The coating absorbs infrared light and prevents stray light from entering. Additionally, it reduces unwanted artifacts caused by stray light, resulting in sharper, more precise images.
OPPO AI and NPU
OPPO’s Reno 10 Series cameras use proprietary algorithms, filters, and photo-editing tools to enhance portrait photos.
For 4K videos, the Reno 10 Pro+ uses camera algorithms to combine long- and short-exposure images in real-time to increase dynamic range by four times.
Meanwhile, the AI Noise Reduction (AINR) algorithm intelligently identifies noise pixels in night-time videos and denoises each frame to reduce noise. Additionally, the Reno 10 Pro+ features an AI Depth algorithm that has been extensively trained on millions of images. For beautiful bokeh, it calculates the distance between objects and characters in the background.
OPPO algorithms complete these processes before they are transferred to the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC for exposure and colour adjustments, resulting in natural-looking, evenly-exposed videos by using independent 3A algorithms (Autofocus, Auto exposure, Auto white balance).
Lucky Draw
With OPPO’s lucky draw, you can win OPPO Reno10 Pro+, Enco TWS Earbuds, OPPO MH135 Type-C Earphones, and Coupons worth Rs. 500 / Rs. 300 / Rs. 100. During that week, the phones could launch sometime between today, 26th June, and 15th July.
