In China, the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro is expected to be unveiled in July or August. This will be one of the first smartphones to feature the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 2 chipset, according to reports. OnePlus is expected to have a few months without any significant launches in the home market following its release, as its focus shifts toward unveiling the OnePlus 12 by the end of 2023. In advance details regarding the OnePlus 12 have already been provided by a Chinese tipper.

The tipster claims that the OnePlus 12 will feature a slim bezel and curved edges AMOLED display manufactured by Samsung. According to rumors, the OnePlus 12 will have a centered punch-hole rather than the one found on the OnePlus 11 5G.

In addition, the leak mentions a 2K resolution but does not specify a refresh rate. OnePlus’ previous flagships have offered 120Hz refresh rates, so it’s likely the screen will do the same.

As for the latest leak, the OnePlus 12 will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, which is expected since most next-generation Android flagships will feature it. The battery will be 5,000mAh or slightly larger with 150W fast charging support.

A circular triple-camera system will be featured on the back of the OnePlus 12. There will be a 50MP Sony IMX9-series primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 64MP OmniVision OV64B periscope telephoto camera.

At present, there is no information available regarding the front camera of the OP12. According to the leak, the device will be launched in December of this year.
