Nothing is scheduled to launch the Phone (2) on July 11. A few details about the upcoming offering have been confirmed by the brand. Carl Pei, the company’s CEO, has revealed a transparent USB Type-C cable. At launch, the accessory will likely be limited to the Nothing Phone (2).
The transparent USB Type-C cable was shared on Twitter by Carl Pei, who commented that it is nice. In addition to the smartphone and TWS earbuds, the accessory will be the third offering from the brand to feature a transparent design. The image shows that the Nothing USB Type-C cable will have transparent lids instead of plastic coatings on its end ports. Additionally, there is a Nothing logo inside the ports. In addition, the rest of the cable, i.e. the wire, is made of different materials. There is a White color option available for the accessory.
There is no word on whether the Nothing USB Type-C cable will only be available for the upcoming Phone (2). Furthermore, it remains to be seen if the accessory will be sold separately or bundled with the phone.
It is confirmed that the Nothing Phone (2) will be powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and backed by a 4,700mAh battery. In addition to a transparent design, it will feature a redesigned Glyph interface with multiple small strips around the charging coil. This device will record video in 4K 60 fps and RAW HDR format.
