The launch date of the Nothing Phone (2) has not been officially announced by Nothing. A premiere is scheduled for July 11th at 4 pm BST (8:30 pm IST). Nothing Phone (2) will be unveiled in the third week of July. In the weeks leading up to the launch event, the brand has been revealing key details about the upcoming smartphone. The latest teaser video shared on Twitter by the company reveals the Glyph interface of the Phone (2). It is likely that the transparent back panel will remain on the device. It has two strips of LED light surrounding the pill-shaped camera module and several small strips surrounding the charging coil. The teaser does not reveal any further details other than this.
In the teaser video, the Glyph interface is in line with the leaked renders. Carl Pei, however, tweeted ‘Fake’ without any context shortly after the renders were released. There is no indication as to whether the Phone (2) will have a different design from its predecessor. According to the leaked renderings, the device will have a slim profile and a slightly rounded frame.
It has been confirmed that the Nothing Phone (2) will be powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. The device will be powered by a 4,700mAh battery. It will be equipped with a RAW HDR format and 4K 60 frame rate video recording capabilities. Despite the upgrades, the price of the smartphone is not expected to increase significantly. Additionally, it is reported to be manufactured in India.
