Later this year, Apple will unveil more products. At WWDC earlier this month, Apple announced the Vision Pro headset, M2 Mac Pro and Mac Studio, 15-inch M2 MacBook Air, and a host of other software announcements. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has revealed Apple’s plans for the second half of this year and the first half of 2024.
Gurman recently revealed in his ‘Power On’ newsletter that Apple plans to unveil the second generation of its rugged Apple Watch Ultra. The Apple Watch Series 9 will come with two new models. Apple Watch Series 9 models are codenamed N207 and N208, while Apple Watch Ultra 2 is codenamed N210. It is expected that the wearable devices will debut in September along with the iPhone 15 series.
Also, Gurman’s newsletter mentions that OLED-screen iPad Pros codenamed J717 and J720 could launch at the iPhone 15 event this fall. A new iPad Pro model is typically announced in September by the Cupertino-based tech giant. It is also possible that Apple will announce new Macs with 24-inch screens later this year, codenamed J433 and J434. According to Gurman, Apple is working on a 30-inch iMac.
The pipeline for MacBooks includes M3-powered 13-inch MacBook Pros codenamed J504, 14 and 16-inch MacBook Pros with M3 Pro and M3 Max codenamed J514 and J516. Additionally, new MacBook Air modes codenamed J613 and J615 are expected.
It is also working on a new iPad Air codenamed J507, which could replace last year’s M1-powered Air. The third-generation AirPods Pro and Apple TV set-top box are also in development, according to Gurman. According to reports, the next generation won’t arrive until 2025.
