Nothing has not yet released its smartphone for 2023 called Nothing Phone (2), and this time it appears to be almost a flagship. Almost because it will use last year’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC instead of the more recent Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
However, pricing is expected to increase significantly, but how much? We now have the price of the two storage options for the Nothing Phone (2) – 256GB and 512GB – thanks to a French media outlet. With 8GB of RAM, the lower-end version is expected to cost €729 (Rs.65,700/-), while the more powerful 12GB/512GB version will cost €849 (Rs.76,500/-). Further, the Nothing Phone (2) arrives in two colors Black & White.
Specs:
The new Nothing Phone (2) will sport a 6.55 inches FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It comes with Corning Gorilla Glas protection both front as well as back. This time Nothing Phone (2) is powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage.
The new Nothing Phone (2) will feature a 50MP Sony IMX766 (f/1.8) main sensor along with an unknown dual camera. There is a 16MP selfie shooter under the punch-hole notch. It packs a 4500 mAh battery with 45W fast charge support. It also comes with 15W wireless charging support & 5W reverse charging feature.
The Nothing Phone (2) will run on Android 13 OS with Nothing OS 2.0 on top. Sadly, no charger is included in the retail package. This time nothing will also include Sattelite communication support on the Nothing Phone (2).
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 5G, Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Dual Band Wifi, A-GPS, NFC, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.3, USB Type-C port, FM Radio, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
