Google’s Pixel smartphones have a history of launching in October, so it seems likely the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro will be announced in October. The Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro camera specifications were revealed earlier this month by Android Authority. The same publication has revealed the Pixel 8 duo’s display specifications in a new report.
According to the leak, the Pixel 8’s screen will be smaller than the Pixel 8’s 6.3-inch. Like the Pixel 7 Pro, the Pixel 8 Pro will have a 6.7-inch display. While the Pixel 7 Pro had a curved screen, its successor will have a flat one. According to the report, the Pixel 8 series display exhibits a slightly less square shape than its predecessors, with slightly more rounded corners.
The Pixel 8 will feature a 6.17-inch display with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a higher refresh rate of 120 Hz, a 427 ppi pixel density, and up to 1,400 nits of brightness. On the Pixel 8, Google will use displays supplied by Samsung and BOE, while the Pro model will use Samsung displays.
Meanwhile, the Pixel 8 Pro has a 6.70-inch OLED display with a Quad HD+ resolution of 1344 x 2992 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, a 490 ppi pixel density, and 1,600 nits of brightness.
