FE series might launch soon from Samsung. The Galaxy S21 FE was the last Galaxy FE smartphone launched in January 2022. Samsung discontinued its affordable flagship smartphone series without a Galaxy S22 FE. Galaxy Fan Edition phones may not be dead yet, according to new rumors. Samsung may launch the Galaxy S23 FE later this year. Online leaks have revealed the phone’s specifications.
Later this year, Samsung might launch the Galaxy S23 FE. Safety Korea has certified the phone’s battery. The Galaxy S23 FE’s battery has been spotted on the certification website with the model number EB-BS711ABY, according to GalaxyClub. This battery belongs to the Galaxy S23 FE with model number SM-S711.
A report by WinFuture, citing import-export databases, revealed some details about prototypes of the device. Model number SM-711B, which allegedly is the European variant, explicitly mentions “S23 FE”. The database also reveals that the Galaxy S23 FE will feature a 50MP main camera. In April 2023, the first manufacturing tools and components were recorded in the same databases. A Samsung smartphone takes at least three months to go on sale after its first mention in these databases, according to the report.
Hence, the Galaxy S23 FE is unlikely to debut at next month’s Unpacked event and is more likely to debut in August or September. No details have been confirmed about the Galaxy S23 FE launch. Take the leaked launch timeline details with a pinch of salt.
