Vivo unveiled the first smartphone in the S17 series – the S17e – in an unexpected move. Since the brand usually launches the entire S-series together in China, the launch has come as a surprise. Let’s see what the new mid-range smartphone has to offer.
Vivo S17e:
The new Vivo S17e will sport 6.78 inches FHD+ OLED display (2400×1080p) with 120Hz refresh rates. It has a curved screen and a center-aligned punch hole.
The device is now powered by Dimensity 7020 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage space. It features a 64MP main sensor coupled with a 2MP depth sensor on the back. On the front, the smartphone ships with a 16MP selfie shooter.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 5G, 4G LTE, VoLTE support, Wifi 6, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and USB Type-C port.
It packs a 4600 mAh battery with 66W fast charging support. The device runs on Android 13 with OriginOS 3.0 on top. It measures 7.4mm thick and weighs 178g. The device also gets NFC and in-display fingerprint support.
The new Vivo S17e costs 2099 Yuan (Rs.25,000/-) for 8GB+128GB, 2299 Yuan (Rs.27,300/-) for 8GB+256GB & 2499 Yuan (Rs.29,600/-) for 12GB+256GB in China.
