Later this year, the Nothing Phone (2) will launch as a new premium smartphone. As part of its launch preparations, the phone has been tested on the Geekbench website. Some key specifications of the device are confirmed on Geekbench.
The model number of the Phone (2) is A065. The device is powered by a Snapdragon processor codenamed Taro, according to Geekbench. It is basically a codename for the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, which clocks at 3.0GHz. It has three performance cores clocked at 2.5GHz and four efficiency cores clocked at 1.8GHz.
Geekbench lists a variant with 12GB of RAM for the Nothing smartphone. It is likely that the phone will launch with 8GB of RAM as well. In various markets, it will have 128GB and 256GB of storage.
In Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests, the Phone (2) scored 1253 and 3833 respectively. On Geekbench, it was also seen running Android 13. It is likely that the device will feature Nothing OS 1.5 on top of Android.
Other specs of the device are not revealed in the listing. The Phone (2) is expected to have a 5000mAh battery. In addition, it will likely have an AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
