HMD launched two new feature phones in India today: the Nokia 105 (2023) and Nokia 106 4G. For instant payments with 123PAY without an Internet connection, they support India’s Unified Payment Interface (UPI).

In addition, the design is quite similar. There is not much difference between Nokia 105 (2023) and Nokia 105 4G (2021), except that it does not have LTE connectivity. This device has a 1.8-inch TFT LCD with 120 x 160 pixels and an IP52 water-resistant polycarbonate body. The Nokia 106 4G has a 1.8-inch IPS LCD screen.

You do not get a camera on either phone, but you do get an LED torch. You’ll need a microSD card to play MP3 files on Nokia 106 4G. Series 30+ operates on the software side. The devices support wireless FM radio, which does not require a headset to be plugged in.

On the Nokia 105, there’s a 1,000mAh battery that is rated for 12 hours of talk time and 22 days of standby, which can be charged with a micro USB cable. The Nokia 106 4G comes with a larger 1,450mAh battery.

Nokia 105 (2023) is available in Charcoal, Cyan, and Red Terracotta colors. The price is set at INR 1,299. Nokia 106 4G is available in Charcoal and Blue colors and costs INR 2,199/-. The open sales begin today.
