After the launch of Motorola Edge 40 Pro, we now have the cheaper flagship Motorola Edge 40 launched. The new Motorola Edge 40 comes in Nebula Green, and Eclipse Black which features a Vegan leather finish along with Lunar Blue with acrylic finish.

The new Motorola Edge 40 will sport 6.55 inches FHD+ 10-bit OLED curved display. It comes with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400p with 10-bit colors & supports a 144Hz refresh rate. The device gets in-display fingerprint scanner support & comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on top.
The device is powered by the new Dimensity 8020 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1 storage space.
The Motorola Edge 40 will feature a 50MP main 1/1.55″ sensor with OIS coupled with a 13MP ultra-wide with 120-degrees FoV. There is a 32MP selfie shooter under the punch-hole notch.
The connectivity options include an in-display fingerprint scanner, Dual 5G support, USB-C with DisplayPort 1.4 support, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and GPS. It arrives in four colors, Lunar Blue, Nebula Green, Eclipse Black, and Magenta. This time the device also gets IP68 certified making it dust and water-resistant.
All this is packed with a 4400 mAh battery with 68W fast charge support. The device also supports 15W wireless & 15W reverse wireless charging. It runs on Android 13 OS out of the box.
There will be two types of materials on the phone – vegan leather and PMMA acrylic. The vegan leather variant weighs 171 grams and measures 158.43 x 71.99 x 7.58mm. As for the PMMA variant, it will have a thickness of 7.49mm and a weight of 167 grams.
