In February, iQOO announced the Neo 7 5G powered by Dimensity 8200, an improved version of the Neo 7 Pro. In the coming months, the ‘Pro’ model will be launched in the Indian market.
Geekbench has revealed the Neo7 Pro handset from iQOO, model number I2217. The listing indicates that the device will have a Qualcomm chipset with the codename “taro.” It has a 3.0GHz CPU core, three 2.50GHz CPU cores, and four 1.80GHz CPU cores.
According to the source code of the Geekbench listing, the SoC is equipped with the Adreno 730 GPU. Therefore, it is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset.
The listing indicates that the device has 8GB of RAM and Android 13. According to Geekbench 6, it scored 1572 points in the single-core test and 4000 points in the multi-core test.
TheTechOutlook reported earlier in May that the model number of the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1-powered iQOO Neo 7T is I2217. In India, the device is expected to debut with the iQOO Neo 7 Pro.
According to the report, the device will feature an AMOLED screen measuring 6.7 inches. With 8GB / 12GB of RAM and 256GB of built-in storage, the device also features a 5,000mAh battery with 120W charging. There will be a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization.
