On May 23, iQOO will unveil its Neo 8 series smartphones as well as its first tablet, dubbed iQOO Pad, during an event in China.
In its teaser, iQOO reveals the iQOO Pad’s design, which is similar to the vivo Pad2. This is not surprising since the iQOO Pad is believed to be a version of the vivo Pad2 powered by the Dimensity 9000+ chip instead of the Dimensity 9000.
Specs:
The iQOO Pad will now sport 12.1 inches WQXGA IPS LCD 2.8K display. It will come with HDR10, Dolby Vision, and 144Hz refresh rate support. Further, the device will not get any fingerprint scanner support instead will come with Face Unlock feature. A self-developed simulation writing engine on the iQOO Pad provides users with real and tactile feedback similar to writing on paper with a pen or pencil.
The iQOO Pad comes with Dimensity 9000+ SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB internal storage. It gets a 13MP main sensor with an f/2.2 aperture & 2MP macro sensor with LED flash. There is an 8MP selfie shooter with an f/2.2 aperture.
The device also comes with quad speakers one on the top and the other at the bottom of the device. It will also get Stylus support. The iQOO Pad packs a 10,000 mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. It runs on Android 13 OS with OriginOS 3.0 on top.
The connectivity option includes Dual Band Wifi/Wifi 6e, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.
