In China, iQOO will launch the iQOO Neo 8 series on May 23. The company has gradually revealed key specifications of the upcoming iQOO Neo 8 Pro model in the lead-up to the event.
IQOO recently announced the device would feature a 50MP primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS). Sony’s IMX866VCS sensor will be used in the camera, which is also found on Vivo’s X90 series (read our review of Vivo X90 Pro+), known for its outstanding low-light photography abilities.
While iQOO has revealed details about the primary camera on the iQOO Neo 8 Pro, it hasn’t revealed anything about the secondary camera. Speculations suggest that the iQOO Neo 8 may also feature a 50MP primary camera but with a different sensor.
In addition, reports suggest the iQOO Neo 8 Pro will feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It’s powered by Dimensity 9200 Plus chipset with 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM. You can get up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. Meanwhile, iQOO Neo 8 will have Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.
With a 5,000mAh battery and 120W fast charging, the smartphone should last for a long time. The iQOO Neo 8 Pro will have an under-display fingerprint sensor. It’ll run Android 13 with iQOO’s OriginOS 3.0 user interface. There will be Wi-Fi 7 on both variants and a Vivo V1+ chip.
