As the successor to last year’s iQOO Neo 6, the Neo 7 launched in February. In terms of its hardware, it’s gotten mostly good reviews. There’s a new Neo series phone coming from the brand. Nipun Marya, iQOO India’s CEO, hinted at a new phone in a cryptic tweet. The background of the image shared by Nipun does subtly say “Neo 7 Pro”, according to tipster Mukul Sharma.
The iQOO Neo 7 Pro will launch in India by the end of this month or early next month, Mukul says. At the moment, no other details are available about the hardware. Based on the ‘Pro’ moniker, we can assume the iQOO Neo 7 Pro will be higher than the Neo 7. The iQOO Neo 8 series launched in China.
The Neo 7T with the Snapdragon 8 series chip will launch in India soon, according to a recent report. The phone will also have a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. Neo 7T could be a rebadged New 7 Racing Edition from China if it’s the Neo 7 Pro.
Further, the popular tipster has now shared the key specs of the new iQOO Neo7 Pro. According to him, the iQOO Neo7 Pro will sport 6.7 inches FHD+ AMOLED flat display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is indeed powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC & packs a 5000 mAh battery. The device is expected to launch by the end of June in India.
iQOO Neo7 5G:
The new iQOO Neo7 5G sports 6.78 inches FHD+ 20:9 aspect ratio Samsung E5 AMOLED with 120Hz refresh rates and HDR10+ support. The iQOO Neo7 5G is powered by the latest Dimensity 8200 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB/16GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage options.
The new iQOO Neo7 5G features triple-rear cameras with a 64MP main sensor having an aperture of f/1.9 with OIS, a 2MP macro lens with an aperture of f/2.2, and a 2MP portrait sensor with an aperture of f/2.4 with LED flash. The device uses a 16MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.46. The iQOO Neo7 5G features an in-display fingerprint scanner with an AK4377A Hi-Fi chip, & Hi-Res audio certification.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and 5G, A-GPS, GLONASS, Dual Band Wifi, Bluetooth 5.1, and USB Type-C port. The new iQOO Neo7 SE 5G packs a 5000 mAh battery with 120W Super Flash Charge support. It runs on Android 13 with OriginOS on top.
It measures 164.8×76.9×8.5mm & weighs 193g. Galaxy, Electric Blue, and Interstellar Black are among the colors available.
