There has been a new leak regarding the upcoming OnePlus Ace 2 Pro model. It has been revealed the launch timeline for this device, as well as a few specifications related to its display.
Digital Chat Station, a known leaker, shared the details on Weibo. The tipster revealed the launch timeline for the upcoming smartphone on the platform. The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro is expected to be announced between July and August of this year. This move by the brand will also put it in competition with Xiaomi’s Redmi K60 Ultra model.
OnePlus Ace 2 Pro follows the Ace 2 model launched back in February 2023. Moreover, Digital Chat Station shared that the smartphone’s OLED panel will be 6.74 inches tall, with narrow bezels. It will have a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate and will be supplied by BOE. This display will reportedly be similar to the one on the Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ model, and it will also support 1440Hz PWM dimming.
It is expected that the device will be equipped with an overclocked Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. In addition, there is a 50MP camera on the rear, with optical image stabilization, and a 5000mAh battery pack that supports fast charging at 100W.
