Google is about to announce tons of new hardware and software updates later next week at the Google I/O. Ahead of the launch, Google has finally removed the curtain from its much-awaited flagship aka Google Pixel Fold. Yes, Google finally reveals the official look of the first foldable aka Pixel Fold.

Design:

Google Pixel Fold’s front and back designs are confirmed by official images.  The device has a compact form factor, but both the front and back sides seem to have wider aspect ratios. It has a punch hole cutout in the center and narrow bezels on all sides. All four sides of the foldable phone have curved edges. On the right edge are the power and volume rocker buttons.

The official images of the Google Pixel Fold show it in a gray color called Obsidian. On the back, there is a horizontal camera module that is similar to the previous Pixel generations, but it doesn’t extend all the way across. Two sensors are housed in pill-shaped cutouts and a third lens and LED flash unit are on the outside of the camera island.

There is nothing more about the Pixel Fold revealed in the official-looking images. There are thick bezels on the foldable phone’s interior display, according to a leaked video that surfaced last week.

Lastly, the new Pixel Fold will be finally launching on May 10 at the Google I/O as per the teaser.
