In many areas, Apple is likely to bring new updates this time around. According to a new leak, the iPhone 15 Pro Max will be the star of the lineup. The iPhone 15 Pro Max’s camera is likely to feature an exclusive feature.

Apple’s upcoming iPhone 15 Pro Max will get some major camera upgrades, according to a new leak. It is rumored that the next iPhone will have a periscope lens on the back. In the iPhone 14 Pro Max, the current 3-x optical zoom telephoto lens will be replaced by this new lens.

According to Tipster Unknownz21, the camera upgrade will be exclusive to the Pro Max. As a result, the iPhone 15 Pro will still offer 3x optical zoom. A recent report said the 15 Pro Max’s periscope lens would support 6x optical zoom, which matches the new leak.

In spite of the fact that this is an upgrade over the iPhone 14 Pro Max’s zoom range, Apple will still lag behind the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra’s 10x optical zoom.

The iPhone 15 Pro models are also expected to feature a new Sony IMX903 sensor. Sony’s new IMX903 48MP sensor features a sensor size of 1/1.14 inches, which could aid in capturing more light and details. Compared to the iPhone 14 Pro, the Sony IMX803 sensor measures 1/1.28 inches. It is also expected to have a 12MP ultra-wide sensor.

Several other details about the upcoming 15 Pro models have been leaked as well. For the Pro models, titanium materials are expected to be used. Like the Action Button in Apple Watch Ultra, Apple is likely to replace the Mute switch with a button that can be programmed to perform multiple tasks.
