Vivo is preparing to release new foldable smartphones. During this month’s launch, Vivo X Fold 2 and Vivo X Flip are expected to be unveiled.
As the company’s first foldable smartphone, the latter features a clamshell design. It has now been possible to view a live image of this device online.
The picture shows the handset’s design. The mockup render matches one from earlier.
Ava Wang (aka Wang Ziwen) is a popular Chinese actress. Recently, she posed for a photoshoot promoting Vivo X Flip.
Digital Chat Station shared an image from this gallery earlier today. This picture shows the device in purple.
Like other Vivo X phones, including Vivo X Fold, the phone has a circular camera. It can be found on the left top corner of the handset when unfolded. Therefore, the rectangular cover screen will be placed below it.
Due to this, the camera module’s cover display is on top when the camera module is folded. With one hand, it would be hard to reach the screen.
With the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip series, the cover display comes down when folded to avoid this inconvenience. It’s the same with Oppo Find N2 Flip.
In terms of specs, previous reports reveal the Vivo X Flip will run Android 13 and be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 SoC. There will be up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage available with the chipset.
