There are two new mid-range smartphones under Samsung’s A series that have recently been launched in India, and one can argue that they are not exactly affordable, with the Galaxy A54 starting at Rs. 38,999. Nonetheless, Samsung may soon introduce a more affordable smartphone for Indian consumers, dubbed Galaxy F54. According to a recent report, the handset is expected to launch in April, and some of its key specifications have also been revealed.
By the end of April, Samsung plans to launch the Galaxy F54 in India, according to SlashLeaks. Although there has been no confirmation from the brand yet, its support page has already gone live in India and Bangladesh, and it has already received various certifications.
On the back, Samsung’s Galaxy F54 is expected to feature its signature triple camera rings, a design that it has been using across its flagship S series devices as well as its more affordable A series devices this year.
Based on the leaks, the Samsung smartphone will boast a 6.7-inch AMOLED display and a Full HD+ resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels. The display will refresh at 120Hz. There will be a 32MP front-facing camera enclosed in the handset’s center punch hole.
The phone will have a 108MP main camera sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS). It may also include an ultra-wide sensor with 8MP and a macro sensor with 2MP. Â Galaxy F54 5G will likely have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and run Android 13 out of the box with One UI 5.1 on top. It will be 8.4mm thick and weigh about 199 grams.
