Both the Galaxy Watch5 (44mm) and Watch5 Pro (46mm) have 1.4″ displays with 450 x 450px resolution for a 321ppi pixel density. Ice Universe reports that Samsung is not only bringing back the rotating bezel for the upcoming Watch6 series but also working on a larger display.

Apparently, the Samsung Galaxy Watch6 Classic will come with a 1.47″ screen and a higher resolution to compensate for the extra 0.07″. A quick calculation shows that the new display will have 10% more surface area than the old one. To maintain the same pixel density, the resolution should be increased to 470 x 470px.

Samsung is working on a blood glucose monitor, but it is unclear if it will be available with the Galaxy Watch 6 series. There will be two models of smartwatches from Samsung in 2023: Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. The watches will be powered by Wear OS-based One UI Watch software. In contrast to the Galaxy Watch 5, the upcoming smartwatches are expected to have curved screens.
