Asus has now launched the first gaming flagship for this year with the new ASUS ROG Phone 7 & ROG Phone 7 Ultimate. Yet again the new ASUS ROG Phone 7 & ROG Phone 7 Ultimate will go on sale via Flipkart in India.
Design:
The difference is that the standard variant of ROG Phone 7 doesn’t feature rear Air Triggers. The ROG Phone 7 Ultimate does come with rear Air Triggers. Further, the Ultimate comes with 12GB RAM and 18GB RAM rest of the specs remain the same.
The new ASUS ROG Phone 7 look similar to the predecessor with a slight change in camera placement. ASUS ROG Phone 7 will look similar to its predecessor with the standard 18:9 aspect ratio display.
On the left, there is a USB Type-C port for attaching the various kind of accessories. On the right, we have got the power button with volume rockers. This time ASUS ROG Phone 7 also gets an RGB display on the back for notifications. It can be customized using an app.

The new ASUS ROG Phone 7 & 7 Ultimate will sport 6.78 inches 165Hz refresh rate Samsung AMOLED FHD+ display. The device features HDR10+, Always On HDR support, and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on top. It measures 10.39 mm thick which is probably due to the larger battery size. It weighs 228g.
The new ASUS ROG Phone 7 series comes with SD 8 Gen 2 SoC coupled with 12GB/16GB/18GB RAM and 256GB/512GB storage. The ASUS ROG Phone 7 series will ship with triple rear cameras with LED flash aligned horizontally. This time the ASUS ROG Phone 7 series features a 50MP Sony IMX766 main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 13MP ultra-wide sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and 8MP macro sensor with LED flash. The new ASUS ROG Phone 7 series features a 32MP selfie shooter. It comes with 4K slo-mo and 8K video recording.
The new ASUS ROG Phone 7 series comes with dual stereo speakers with dual NXP TFA9874 smart amplifiers DIRAC audio technology & Cross Talk cancellation tech. The device gets X mode to boost the performance further for heavy gaming. It also features dedicated Gaming profile customization built into the ROG UI. It comes with side-mounted Air triggers 7 with Touch support for the perfect gaming experience.
ROG Phone 7 Ultimate unlike ROG Phone 7, has an additional screen integrated into the back, similar to its gaming laptop counterpart. This is the ROG Vision, a smaller 2.0 inches PMOLED display that shows notifications on the back.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 4G LTE, VoLTE and 5G support, A-GPS, GLONASS, Dual Frequency GPS, NFC, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio port, Wifi-7, Bluetooth 5.3, an in-display fingerprint scanner. The new ASUS ROG Phone 7 series will pack a 6000 mAh battery with 65W fast charging support. It will also have support for 5G networks and runs on Android 13 out of the box. It comes with IP54 splash resistance this time.

ASUS ROG Phone 7 with 12GB+256GB will cost Rs.74,999/- in India. The ROG Phone 7 Ultimate with 16GB+512GB will set you back at Rs.99,999/- in India.
