There were several models available in the Galaxy Watch 5 series, which was an interesting refresh. One of the most beloved features of Samsung’s smartwatches – the rotating bezel – was ditched. In the past, the company sold its smartwatches under the “Gear” name. It is rumored that the upcoming Galaxy Watch 6 series will bring back rotating.
The physical rotating bezel will return to the Galaxy Watch 6 series, according to YouTuber Super Roader. The Galaxy Watch 6 Pro will be the only watch worthy enough to feature it. Samsung’s standard Galaxy Watch 6 may have to make do with a digital bezel, which isn’t necessarily a negative, but it can’t completely emulate the tactile sensation of a rotating bezel.
Those familiar with Samsung smartwatches (Galaxy Watch 4 series or older) will appreciate the joy of navigating widgets, screens, and apps effortlessly with the rotating bezel.
Additionally, it has been reported that the Watch 6 Pro will come in two sizes. The smaller size is for those who don’t want a large watch. Last year, the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro was available in only one 45mm size. There is no word yet on when Samsung plans to launch the Galaxy Watch 6 series, but it is expected to focus on long-lasting battery life.
