Redmi 12C was just unveiled by Xiaomi in Indonesia. It appears that the company is preparing to launch this device in India as well. Here are all the details about the smartphone, which is expected to launch later this month.
In India, the official website of Chinese tech giant Xiaomi now features a microsite dedicated to its new 12C model. According to this page, the device will be announced in the region on 30th March 2023. According to this listing, it carries the same specifications as the global release.

The new Redmi 12C will sport 6.71 inches HD+ IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels, & a 20:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by MediaTek Helio G85 SoC coupled with 4GB/6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB/128GB eMMC 5.1 storage.
It features a 50MP main rear camera with LED flash along with a 2MP depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.2. The device comes with a 5MP selfie shooter with an f/2.2 aperture. It packs a 5000 mAh battery with 10W charging support.
The connectivity options include Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.0, Wifi, a micro USB port, FM Radio, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. It runs on Android 12 OS without any custom skin on top. The device measures 8.7 mm thick and weighs 192g.
