A new product from Xiaomi’s Redmi sub-brand is set to launch in India soon. Later this month, the company will release its first Fire TV with Fire OS. Here’s all you need to know.
According to official notes, the new Fire TV will feature a 32-inch display. Additionally, it is the company’s first smart TV to run on Fire OS instead of Android TV OS. With Fire OS 7, the device promises a premium experience and even serves as a smart hub control. There are also dedicated quick launch buttons for Prime Video, Netflix, and Amazon Music on the new remote.
It features metallic bezels, and the Chinese tech giant claims that the display will provide great visuals and immersive audio. Among the TV’s connectivity features are Dual band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, Airplay, and Miracast. Aside from the eco-friendly packaging, the Fire TV will also come with a Mi Bunny storage unit that can be cut open.
Redmi Fire TV will be available for purchase on the company’s official website and Amazon India. We can expect to learn about the TV’s pricing shortly after its March 14 launch. Stay tuned for more updates, as we’ll cover its launch and any other updates that surface.
