The Redmi Note 12 Turbo will be launched in China later today. In global markets, this smartphone is expected to be called Poco F5.
Earlier this week, it was reported that the F5 would go official on April 6. The firmware for this handset just went live a week before the said date.
Xiaomiui says the Poco F5 will ship with four different MIUI builds. The Android 13-based MIUI 14 builds are labeled India, Global, EU, and Russia. Thus, these markets should be able to purchase the device.
Poco F5’s software just got ready now, so the smartphone might not go official next week. Moreover, we have yet to see any official renders of the device from retailers and other sources, which should have been available days ago.
The Poco F5 may launch later as a result of all these factors. We cannot be certain until the brand confirms the date. Assuming the handset goes official next week, Poco will reveal the launch date by the weekend.
Poco F5 features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 2 chipset, a 6.67-inch 120Hz OLED display, a 64MP main camera with optical image stabilization, a 5,000mAh battery, and 67W fast charging.
